Our Original Hot Yoga is 40 degrees with 40% humidity. Our Hot Flow, Hot Sculpt and Hot Pilates classes are 35 degrees with 40% humidity. Warm Classes are run at 30 degrees. Your body temperature is 37 degrees already. The heat increases your heart rate and blood circulation before you even exercise and so just being in the hot room is a health boost! Hot practice also allows for a higher calorie burn and for your muscles to stretch safely.
No! It is a complete yoga myth that you have to be flexible to do yoga. In fact you will get more benefit from yoga if you are not! It will challenge you but if you try the poses the right way and to the best of your ability you will get 100% medical and therapeutic benefits. Bikram and Inferno are for REAL bodies and any level of fitness.
As much as you like! Studies show that Original Hot Yoga is most effective practised twice per week and we would recommend 2-3 per week for maximum benefits. We have memberships to suit however often you wish to practice whether that is once per week or every day! And be warned - the heat is seriously addictive 😊
If you are practising Bikram and Inferno before becoming pregnant there is no reason why you can’t continue during your pregancy with adjustments. If not we can definitely help you after baby arrives.
16 years old. Your sweat glands need to be fully formed and you need to be able to concentrate and listen for the full class.
